Storm Forecasted in Lumbini, Madhesh, Sudurpaschim, and Koshi Provinces

Kathmandu: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has issued a warning of storms in certain areas of Lumbini, Madhesh, Sudurpaschim, and Koshi provinces today.
In light of this forecast, the department has advised all concerned parties, including those involved in agriculture, tourism, mountaineering, and land and air services, to remain vigilant.
According to the department, the impact of westerly winds and local winds will be felt partially in the hilly regions of the country.
Additionally, some areas of the Koshi Province are expected to experience light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning.
Furthermore, light snowfall has been predicted in the upper hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
Residents and travelers in these regions are urged to take necessary precautions and stay updated on weather advisories.
